Register a Death
Registration services changed on 1st April 2021 The Northamptonshire registration service has been split in two NORTH Northamptonshire Registration Service and WEST Northamptonshire Registration service
A death should generally be registered within 5 days unless there are delays with the issue of certification or if the coroner is instructed. You will need an appointment with the local appropriate registrar to the place of death.
You do not need to have registered a death before speaking with us about funeral arrangements. Please allow us the chance to offer you help and guidance and book the registrar for you. Please contact us either day or night.
North Northamptonshire Registrar Service
For deaths within Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough, Rushden or East Northamptonshire Council boundaries etc.
West Northamptonshire Registrar Service
For deaths within Northampton, Daventry, Towcester, or South Northamptonshire Council boundaries etc.
