• When you experience a bereavement it can be a very confusing time and often with the feeling of so much to do can be overwhelming.

We have been helping families since 1885 and have great experience with all our local Churches, Cemeteries and Crematoriums.

We will guide you through your choices of location of service and the different facilities at each cemetery and crematorium. We will make the contact with ministers for you and help ensure that your wishes can be met. We have immediate access to our own civil celebrants who can deliver religious, low religious or non-religious services.

We want you to have complete control of the funeral arrangements so we will show you choices of coffin, be that simple or more bespoke, guide you with cremated remains options, organise any hymns or music requested that you might have. We can process your charitable donation requests, place obituaries notices into newspapers, provide you with private chapel of rest facilities and ensure that all payments to third parties are made in a timely manner. We will help you understand the role of the local coroner, if involved, and fix you an appointment with the local registrar of births and deaths.

Should you have any questions about making funeral arrangements then please contact us for an immediate response, 24 hours a day.

Our "Asher Room" is available to you for your service or funeral catering needs. The room can be hired for free. Subject to availability and terms.

Funeral costs can be a worry, but we will ensure that you have a full estimate of expenses at our first meeting. You will have control over the expenses and you might find our "Simplified" funeral service or "Direct Cremation" options of assistance.

We will not ask you for any money upfront, but simply raise an invoice for the expenses after the funeral has taken place. This invoice will be in the same format as the estimate you will already have, so its easy to understand.
